Having nothing else to write about, I will comment on Patrick McElligatt's post about McDonald's. In his post, he writes "there is nothing good to come from it [Mcdonalds]". I totally disagree on that there are benefits. Yes, it may be fattening, but it is much healthier than competing fast food chains like Burger King and Jack-in-the-Box, and there at least is a salad menu. With McDonalds, the average Joe can walk in and order a big mac, a large Dr. Pepper, and fries, and leave satisfied. Little children can enjoy their toys on the Happy Meal. Finally, you can win money through the Monopoly Sweepstakes. Yes, there is good coming from Mcdonalds!

I disagree with you Jacoby fats food is horrible for you ecspecialy Mcdonalds. There the worst when you order your meal they don't cook it up real quick it's been sitting on a shelf for 2 days and all they do is heat up and you have a meal. well thats gross and the Nutrition in fast food is pretty much zero in everything except fat. Fast food is horrible because of the meat quality its from the lowest range of chickens or cows but its just mostly fillers. probably 20% is meat and 80% is fillers. Who cares if it just tastes goods why don't you just go home and make like a sandwhich in my opinion that will taste way better then a Big Mac.
ReplyDeleteJacoby just because it has a salad doesn't make a fast food place any more healthier. Salad is nothing more than lettuce. You can make that when ever you want.
ReplyDeleteI'm interested to see some evidence of how it's healthier than Burger King. It may well be, but I think Burger King has salads too. I will say, Mcdonalds has been marketing much more to a health-friendly crowd. You could be right. Then again, you sort of undermine your argument by the way you close it out.
ReplyDeleteI admit that yes, McDonald's is very fattening, but that is not what I'm arguing about. All I'm saying that there are good things that come from going to Mcdonald's, contradicting Patrick's quote "there is nothing good to come from it [Mcdonalds]".
