I decided to interview my baseball coach because he is very inspirational to me. Bobby Alanis is not only a great family man, and a dedicated employee of Giant RV he is also an unpaid baseball coach. Here are the questions I decided to ask during the interview:
1. Why do you coach baseball? Answer: I enjoy teaching kids the best game in the world.
2. Do you worry about what the parents will say about your line-ups and positions? Answer: No, because parents are parents and I remain unbiased.
3. How do you feel when your team wins? Answer: It feels good because I know I did my job right.
4. How do you feel when your team loses? Answer: It doesn't feel good. I don't really want to say it.
5. How do you juggle your job, family and baseball? Answer: It is hard, but baseball gives me time with my boys. First it was my older boy and now it is the younger ones.
6. What is your goal for this team? Answer: I want to prepare them for high school ball. That is the main thing.
7. Does coaching baseball ever suprise you? Answer: A coach should expect suprises, that is what a good coach would say.
8. Will you always coach baseball or will you try other sports? Answer: It will always be baseball. Live, sweat and die...hahahaha
And that's a rap. It was pretty much what I expected. If you know the game, you pretty much know the answers.
"Best game in the world."
