Pepper spray

I was recently looking at a website called detentionslip.org. I found an article that said a child was sprayed with pepper spray. Then I thought to myself, wow, that kid must have gone insane for the school to call the police and for them to pepper spray him. Then I read the short 3 sentence article to figure out he just went insane and out of control. What I read was that he had a tantrum and started pulling out pieces of wood. Then, I thought, holy crap that kid is either mega strong or they have really bad constructors. Now do I think he should have been pepper sprayed, personally no, but I might be a little biased because of my age. I personally believe that there could have been a more civilized approached to this chaos. For example, get him isolated and call his parents to help calm him down.
