Today I want to talk about the Carmelo Anthony trade to the Knicks. In it, the New York team receives Melo and Chauncey Billups, a scoring machine and a 3-point specialist. In return, Anthony's former team, the Nuggets, get Wilson chandler, Raymond Felton, and Danilo Galinari, 3 out of the top 4 players in the Knicks. There were also other people traded as the T-Wolves get Anthony Randolph and Eddy Curry. So 3 questions remain: will the Knicks reach greatness even with loss of talent, will the Nuggets recover without Melo, and will the T-Wolves ever get a good season? Time will tell, so stay tuned folks.
If you came up with the title, I am in awe of your pun power. See my most recent post for why. Nice write up too.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your opinion on this trade.I feel that Carmelo going to the Knicks is not in best interest because they Knicks salary cap may become low.In the future if they decide o aquire more skilled players they may not have they cash.In myhonest opinion the eastern confrence champions will be the Boston Celtics period...
