Speak- Entry 2
I think it means to be able to say how u feel. Sometimes it can be negative and sometimes positive. People often times like to express how they feel in a verbal manner. In school it can be inappropriate sometimes because of the subject it might be on. It also can be hurtful if your talking about a teacher. But it can also be appropriate if your talking about education. In the public, you are free to speak your mind and people can't do anything about it. This is what I think free speech is.
Speak- Entry 1
I think we don't like them because we are jealous of them. For me in cycling, if someone beats me I tend to get jealous because they were stronger than me that day. So I tend not to like them because they beat me in one race. In music, if I hear someone play a sax and they sound good then I get jealous because I want to be that good. In school I could really careless if someone has better grades because I think I have good grades that will get to me a university. I don't think it's fair though because I still have time to improve and I'm discriminating them because they are really good at something and I should be congratulating them instead of getting jealous of them. Adults are not like this because they've lived life enough to not really care about little things like that.

Irony
This week in my English class, we are learning about irony. Irony is something that happens or is said that is the opposite of what you would expect. The 3 types of irony are verbal, situational and dramatic. If you still don't undertstand irony, I have found a funny site that humorously describes irony.
Example of Irony:"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!"
Legends
legands is a great place to get food. They have some delicious burgers.the burgers they give out are pretty big. When you order fries they give you a lot of fries like really a lot. Although the place is expensive like $8 a burger but the good thing about it is that at the end you get so full that you cant have no more. There only like four legends in the whole U.S and there are al in southern california. This is my review on Legends.

Callville Bay Classic Stage Race
Recently I raced in Callville Bay right by Lake Mead in Nevada. There were 20 riders in our category and 8 of my teammates in the same category. The first stage was the time trial. It was a 4 mile climbing time trial. My time was 10 minutes and 7 seconds which put me in 3rd place overall 7 seconds behind the leader and 4 seconds behind second place. The next stage was the 27 mile road race. Our team went into stage 2 managing 3rd place (me) all the way to 10th place with all of us being in order. Since I was closest to the General Classification, I would be the captain out on the road. We started off with the 15-16 year olds which made it a harder race. The first 4 miles were neutral miles; which meant the time being to go easy and wait until we are out on open roads to start racing. When we were out onto open roads, the attacks started to come. We were averaging about 25 mph on the flats and about 18 mph on the hills. By the time we made it to the turn around, it was me, my teammate in 4th overall, the leader from San Diego, and the rest of the 15-16 year olds. As we started climbing again, my teammate fell back a little bit. The next climb, I started to get dropped; but luckily, m teammate caught me in time to give a little more effort for me and pull me all the way back to the group. He did an AMAZING job to pull me back to an elite group of riders. When we turned right on to the finish straight, everyone started sprinting and I couldn't hang on anymore. The race leader was able to stay a little longer and gain 10 seconds on me. By the end of the day I gained 2 minutes on second place; which moved me up to second place overall 17 seconds behind the leader. The last stage landed on my birthday. It was stage 3- the criterium. The inevitable plan was for me to try and gain my time back to get into first and for my teammate, closest to me on the overall, to try and win.
But the plan didn't work when we found out that we were racing with the 15-16 year olds again. So my whole object was to just sit in behind the leader and suck his wheel all day and let him use his energy. I was then also planning on leading out my teammate for the win. But on the last turn he clipped his wheel on the ground and lost his position for the sprint. As soon as I heard him say "ah dang it!!," I knew I had to go. I came around the leader and sprinted all the way to victory. As I crossed the line I rose my hands in the air and screamed for joy. At the end of the stage race, I was second overall 13 seconds behind the leader. I got on the podium with my teammate in 3rd, me in second, and the kid from San Diego in first. After that, the announcer found out it was my birthday and gave me something extra special for my win; hugs and kisses on the cheek from the Mandalay Bay Showgirls or as us cyclists call them; Podium girls. This was a great weekend at the Callville Bay Classic Stage Race.

Last poem
A little late on this one.
The opposite of happy,
Is what a person shows when they have lost something,
something like a precious pet that they loved.

In 'N' Out
Jacoby, Trevor, and Osbaldo watch this. I think In 'N' Out is the best fast food restaurant ever. Their hamburgers are PHENOMENAL. The patties are very lean and they taste so tender and juicy. You can get your burger as big as a 5 by 5. Unless you know someone that works at a certain In 'N' Out, you can get it bigger than a 5 by 5. The service at every single In 'N' Out you go to is great and the same at every single one. The staff is kind and is always happy to help you. They are always cleaning up their facilities. Before you work at In 'N' Out, you have to get trained at In 'N' Out University in Baldwin Park, California, where the first In 'N' out was established. You have to go there for training because the company wants perfection before you start working at In 'N' Out. In 'N' Out has expanded throughout California and in parts of Nevada and Arizona. This is why I think In 'N' Out is the best fast food restaurant ever!!
Chuck E Cheese
Hey Jacoby and Osbaldo you guys got nothing on Chuck E Cheese. This place you can enjoy great entertainment with all the games and rides.Yes I did say rides and they go up down and whatever direction you can go.They have a a play area with tubes, tunnels, and all the bells and whistles. There a complete gourmet of food items including my favorite FRIED CHICKEN with many others such as pizza. Those housewives don't have to worry because they have a place for you to go enjoy your salad. Those mouth watering cinnamon and apple crisps bites. There games range from skee ball to racing cars.Once your done you can use all those tickets to buy a gumball machine or whatever floats your boat .They have the best of both worlds.Did I forget to mention Chucke himself .Hes awesome once you get to know him.Chuck E Cheese ,WHERE A KID CAN BE A KID.
The Hat
Following Osbaldo's post about burgers, I want to talk about a burger joint I've been recently that's called The Hat. It's a chain of small restaurants originating from Alhambra and scattered around So Cal that specialize in pastrami, especially their signature, the pastrami dip. Now, I'm not talking about teeny-weeny sandwiches with two slices of pastrami. No, I'm talking about a humongous burger filled with two inches of heavenly-made pastrami. they cook so much pastrami that customers eat up to 15 tons of pastrami a week! there are other things on the menu, but if you go there, try their pastrami dip. It's radical!
Jack In The Box
Jack In The Box is a great place to get fast food. They have some good fries and burgers. I personaly like the tacos. They are 2 for a dollar. Most of there meals are cheap and affordable compared to other fast food resturants. They always have some sort of promotions like free tacos, fries or specials like the jumbo deal wich comes a burger, fries, drink, and a taco for only 3 bucks. That's a really good deal. This is why jack in the box is a good fast food resturant.

Introduction
I believe that this poetry experience was a lot better than I thought it would. I thought it would be one of those oh great i have to do 15 poems. I figured out that i kinda like poetry and the poems you are about to read will reflect that. I believe that if you like poetry that do it, do not worry about who you might think will laugh. Embrace it like I have learned to. Also, if you do not like it then oh well that is okay then you that is your opinion. I fell that poetry is usually loved or hated.

Day 14- Sense Poems
A colorful rainforest.
Pineapples.
Parrots.
Loose dirt.
Extraordinary Bananas.
She would go crazy if she saw this.

Day 13- Writing About Weather
RAIN
Rain comes in quiet on gloomy days.
It is sometimes hard and sometimes soft.
Ugly grey clouds make up the rain
in the sky.
When you see the colorful rainbow,
you know the rain is gone.

Day 15- Rhetorical Questions
Dogs
I wonder if dogs can actually understand what we tell them?
I think they do sometimes
They sometimes sit down when we say
"Sit!!'
But then they don't because they don't even speak the same way humans do.
Maybe they speak a language we've never heard of?
We'll never know.

A glimpse of beautiful gold sunset
Silky smooth sand rejuvenating my inner senses
Crusty crabs scavenge for dinner

Rhetorical Questions Poem
Why do we call gravity gravity?
well why not
I guess I could say that about any word
Why do we call it a guitar
I guess we will never know.

Why do we call it a guitar
I guess we will never know.
